“Unknown to many people I spent 20 years battling with addiction. From the age of 15 to 35 I drank destructively. I first sought help for my addiction at the age of 21 but I was to be 35 before I put my glass down for the last time. Since then, as part of my recovery I have raised over £54,000 for charities through a series of extreme endurance events. This culminated in being one of only 21 people to have completed the Arch to Arc, the world’s hardest triathlon in September 2014.I also became the oldest person ever to succeed at the event”
